Common Cause is a nonprofit, nonpartisan citizen's lobbying organization promoting open, honest and accountable government. Supported by the dues and contributions of over 200,000 members and supporters in every state across the nation, Common Cause represents the unified voice of the people against corruption in government and big money special interests. Common Cause has a staff of more than 100 people who are committed to working in the public interest. With 55 staff in state capitals and locations around the country and 50 more working in the national office in Washington, D. C., there are a variety of positions which become available from time to time. These include political organizers, legislative and media representatives, analysts, writers and administrative personnel. Some positions are suitable for entry level applicants.
