Who We Are

LLLS is a "niche" search firm that specializes exclusively in finding sought-after candidates to fill positions in the nonprofit sector. By accepting a limited number of assignments at any one time, we are able to dedicate 100 percent of our resources to finding the right people. Our search directors are experienced professionals who in previous careers have identified, recruited, retained and led talented individuals in the nonprofit and for-profit worlds. They have been on the inside and know what it takes to successfully unite people and organizations.

Our Approach

We begin each search with a thorough review of the organization and its expectations of the new hire as expressed by key stakeholders and use this information to create a comprehensive profile of the organization and the position. LLLS uses a variety of methods to locate appropriate candidates including searching our extensive, state-of-the-art database, advertisements in targeted print and web media, and outreach to our key source network. We are actively involved with professional associations in all areas of nonprofits and have cultivated and nurtured relationships with a variety of nonprofit professionals in education, healthcare, social services, and arts and cultural organizations.

We contact more than two hundred individuals while conducting any one search, and thoroughly screen and extensively interview potential candidates using a litmus test devised from a customized profile of the ideal candidate for each client.
