November 04, 2009 New Effort Seeks to Become "Global eBay for Caring"An American political consultant who specializes in Internet strategies is developing an online activism network designed to give users tools to meet, share information, and start large-scale social projects online, the BBC reports. Phil Noble, founder of PoliticsOnline, said the goal of the site, to be called HopePlus, “is to create a world online Peace Corps or a global eBay for caring.” The project is expected to be unveiled in December at the United Nations Climate Change Conference, in Copenhagen. ![]() Comments

We can launch many new programs, and we can funnel a lot of money to them, but, bottom line, I believe, is that unless individuals change their inner, core beliefs, they will never permanently change their outer behavior or circumstances. Teaching a person how to examine and change those inner, core beliefs is akin to teaching them how to do that proverbial fishing.
