Hershey Trust Ousts Most of Company's Board Members
Eight board members of the Hershey Company resigned on Sunday as a rift widens between the charitable trust that controls the corporation and the company’s management, reports The Wall Street Journal.
The trust has already named the departing board members’ replacements and announced that shareholders will vote for two additional board members next year, the Journal reported. The shake-up demonstrates a deep divide between the trust and the company over weak financial performance this year.
