Prospecting: Proving Results to a Foundation

Foundations “look for a relatively enduring change in behavior” when evaluating the success of their grant recipients, a speaker told a conference for fund raisers last week, according to The Chronicle’s Prospecting fund-raising column.

  1. Thank you for this short article. As one of the program co-chairs of Fund Raising Day in New York (the “New York fund-raising conference” mentioned), who helped organize and recruit speakers for this session among others, we would SO appreciate it if Fund Raising Day in New York (the nation’s largest one-day conference, presented by the Greater NY Chapter of AFP) could have been acknowledged by name. Hundreds of volunteers helped organize the event, attended by 2100+ professionals. We love to see the fruits of their work acknowledged in print.
