Online Discussion Next Week: The State of Fund Raising
Join The Chronicle next Tuesday, June 24, at noon U.S. Eastern time for an online discussion about the economy’s impact on fund raising — and what nonprofit leaders need to know about trends in giving.
Experts will be available to take questions and analyze the trends unveiled in the new edition of Giving USA, the annual tally of American philanthropy, scheduled for release on Monday.
Thank you to all of you for your interest. We will be posting more information through Philanthropy Today during the next 24 hours with details about this event. We are finalizing our list of panelists and will publicize that information soon.
For those who haven’t yet participated in an online discussion on our site, these are free events that we host every Tuesday at noon Eastern time. We have a full library of past discussions at http://philanthropy.com/live
To join the discussion next Tuesday: on the day of the event, click the “philantrhopy today” link from the front page (top left menu). From there you can scroll down until you see the title of the event. If you receive the daily e-newsletter, there will be a link on the email. You will be able to join the discussion there.
