From the Chronicle: A Billion-Dollar Call for Change

Angry about the fiscal course pursued by the federal government, the financier Peter G. Peterson plans to put $1-billion into a new foundation that will support efforts to call for new public policies. As the foundation opened its doors last week, its founding donor and chief executive talked to The Chronicle about their plans.
