This is all very well and we all hope for a successful conclusion. However, it is likely to take some time and every moment the children continue to die. Surely it has to be acknowledged that the root causes of malaria (and other killers) are the unsanitary conditions in which the children live with their families, in particular where there is stagnant water and a lack of drainage. Why can’t collaboration with local authorities be initiated to improve those conditions and to hold seminars on awareness raising for those people living in such environments? That would have immediate positive and long-lasting results.
