International Grants Rose by 8% Last Year

Foundation giving to international causes rose to $3.8-billion last year, the largest amount American grant makers have ever awarded overseas, says a new report.

Such giving grew by $300-million from 2004, an 8-percent increase, not adjusting for inflation, according to the report by the Foundation Center, in New York.
