    International

    Entries for the Ending Violence at Home challenge administered by the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies, with support from the Avon Foundation for Women. The competition invites teams of two to five people to develop mobile and Web-based applications that raise awareness about and prevent domestic violence against women and children. The first place team will receive $10,000, second place will receive $7,500, third place will receive $5,000, and fourth place will receive $2,500. Who may apply: teams from anywhere in the world comprising individuals who are at least 18 years old. Teams must include a member who works in domestic-violence prevention.
