The Chronicle of Philanthropy -- Information provided by PG Calc
PGCalc Gift Annuity Solutions

Education

Planned giving is full of complexities.  Newcomers often find it an overwhelming discipline, and even experienced gift planners are challenged to stay current with new developments.

Our educational programs have two objectives. First, we want you to be the most informed, skillful, confident gift planner you can be. Second, we know our software can contribute significantly to your planned giving program, and we want you to master it. Our educational programs are available to you in any number of formats varying by class size, location, and method of delivery.

We offer group training seminars in various cities around the country. If you prefer Internet learning, we have that, too. In fact, many of our clients find our interactive and recorded Webinars a convenient, affordable, easily accessible environment in which to grow their skills and the skills of their team in areas as varied as tax basics, state gift annuity regulations, lead trusts, marketing, and more.

Through a combination of delivery methods and courses, PG Calc’s educational curriculum seeks:

  • To explain the concepts behind gift calculations
  • To enable you to discuss basic and complex planned giving topics with fluency
  • To teach you the tools and techniques of effective gift administration
  • To enable your organization to close more planned gifts
