Deadlines for Grants and Awards

  • 3/1/2012: International

    Applications for the 2013 Skoll Awards for Social Enterpreneurship, administered by the Skoll Foundation. Three-year grants will support social-entrepreneurship projects that help poor people. Winning organizations have a tested and proven social innovation that focuses on an issue of critical importance and is positioned for large-scale impact. Projects must focus on one of the following issues: economic and social equity; environmental sustainability; health; institutional responsibility; peace and security; and tolerance and human rights. Additional information is available on the foundation's Web site. Who may apply: organizations classified as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or other legally incorporated entities. The foundation will give preference to groups with annual revenues below $2.5-million that have activities primarily in developed countries and below $1 million that have activities primarily in developing countries.
